"Hi Everyone, my name is Kristen and I am so super excited and honored to be a part of this team.
I ran my first ever 5k in June of 2015. I had no idea what I was doing and was incredibly intimidated by everyone else who seemed to have a clue.
I like running 5k’s and 10k’s the best but hope to one day find the part of me that loves the idea of running for 13.1. My current running goal is to heal my broken ankle (I broke it while running right after Thanksgiving....it’s a funny story with a moral of: I should be wrapped in bubble wrap) with enough time run the 10k leg of the BRM in April.
Outside of running I enjoy lifting weights, baking sugary delicious carbohydrates, hanging out with my 3 daughters (ages 12, 9 and 9) and working on my book that I may actually finish within the next 10 years if I really buckle down."
