Cost of Half Marathon Training is $125 and that includes 14 weeks of workouts (two times a week), newsletters, access to Coaches who can answer questions and more! We do require that all Half Marathon Training participants be 18 or older.
Anyone who is already able to run at least 4-5 miles and wants to get ready for 13.1 miles! The 14-week Half Marathon Training starts at 4 miles (so you must be able to already run 4 miles comfortably) and builds up to 13.1 miles. We have multiple paces groups for the Half Marathon Program including 10-11, 11-12, 12-13 and run/walk intervals (run 2 minutes, walk 1 minute).
Thursday night workouts have a speed/core option for those runners looking to increase their speed and strength. Saturday mornings are long runs.
Workouts take place on Thursdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 7am.
Thursday Evening workouts start at 6pm and Saturday morning workouts start at 7am at Reserve Avenue Fields North, across the street from Carilion Clinic- 3 Riverside.
Anyone is welcome to TEST DRIVE a Half Marathon workout for free the first week of the session before signing up. Please check-in at the Fleet Feet Sports tent when you arrive.
