May 19, 2012: The 2nd Annual CAFE 5K Family Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, May 19th at Kennedy Park in Roanoke, VA.  The event includes a 5K run or a 1.5 mile walk through the Northwest community, an outdoor Zumba class, vendors, food, live music and performances.   Details can be found at www.cafearts.org

MAY 26, 2012: The Appalachian Power Run 5K & 10K will take place on Saturday, May 26th.  The races start at 8am.  Packet pick-up and registration will take place at Fleet Feet Sports on Friday, May 26th from noon until 6pm.  Register online at www.commonwealthgames.org

MAY 27, 2012: The Tuff Strutter 5K Trail Run will take place on Sunday, May 27th in Martinsville, VA.  The event starts at 10am at the Blue Mountain Festival Grounds.  Registration forms are available at Fleet Feet Sports.  Additional information can be found at www.roosterwalk.com

JUNE 2, 2012: The 2012 Race for Open Space 5K Classic & 3K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 2 at Green Hill Park in Roanoke County.  The event benefits the land preservation programs of the Western Virginia Land Trust.  Registration forms are available at Fleet Feet Sports.  Visit www.westernvirginialandtrust.org/race for complete details including how to fundraise and win prizes!

JUNE 2, 2012: Troutville Trail Days Hiker's Hustle 5K will take place in Troutville on June 2, 2012.  The race will include open field, gravel, and road running with a requirement of retrieving two different rubber bracelets on route.  The event starts at 9am.  All proceeds benefit Together for Troutville, Inc.  Information is available at Fleet Feet Sports.

JUNE 9, 2012: Run With Grace 5K and Mile Fun Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 9th.  The route takes place on the Patrick Henry High School cross country course and is mainly wooded trails.  Proceeds from this race will be used to fund the Grace Lovegrove Scholarship and to support the PHHS Cross Country & Track teams.  The scholarship honors Grace Lovegrove, a PH graduate who died in 2005 while on a training run at her college, Christopher Newport University.  Registration forms are available at Fleet Feet Sports and information can be found online at www.runwithgrace.com.  Packet pick-up and registration will be held at Fleet Feet Sports on Friday, June 8th from 10am to 7pm.

JUNE 9, 2012: The Sundown Classic 5K Run & Pooch Parade will take place on June 9th at 7:30PM with the Pooch Parade starting at 7:40pm.  The event starts at the Smith Mountain Lake YMCA and winds through the scenic Lakewatch Plantation subdivision.  All proceeds benefit the Franklin County's Humane Society & Smith Mountain Lake YMCA.  Registration forms and information are available at Fleet Feet Sports. 

JUNE 15, 2012: The High Heel Diva Dash will take place at 6PM on Friday, June 15 on Wiley Drive in Roanoke!  The Dash is a fundraiser for Relay for Life.  This 100-yard dash is open to men and women; minimum two-inch heel, no platforms!  Cost of the event is $10.  Information is available at Fleet Feet Sports.

JULY 4, 2012:  The 2nd Annual HomeTown Bank Four on the 4th is a 4-mile run/walk in Downtown Roanoke.  All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia.  Packet pick-up and registration will be held at Fleet Feet Sports on July 3rd from noon until 6pm.  Register online at www.fouronthe4th.com
