Be the first smiling face guests meet when entering Fleet Feet Sports. The Greeter is the first person to positively impact guests’ experience. The importance of the Greeter is to welcome guests and find out how Fleet Feet Sports can help them. The Greeter must be able to efficiently greet and keep track of guests on busy and fast-paced Saturdays. Learning the products and services Fleet Feet Sports offers is integral to be able to guide and educate guests upon arrival. The Greeter may need to work a few special events throughout the year in addition to the regular Saturday shifts. Requirements needed are a smile, great attitude and eagerness to meet awesome people.
REGULAR HOURS ARE SATURDAYS, 10:00AM-6:00PM.
FIT PROFESSIONAL (PART-TIME AND/OR FULL-TIME)
We are seeking people who have a passion for lifetime fitness, who enjoy serving others, and who are capable of providing consistently superior customer service. Qualifications needed:
- Confidence and comfort when talking to all types of people about products and services that can improve the quality of their lives.
- A passion to constantly learn new things.
- The ability to stay calm and friendly under pressure.
- Patience and willingness to provide the ultimate customer service experience, making every customer feel equally welcome and valued.
- The desire to help others and work hard.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A PASSION FOR HELPING PEOPLE AND A PASSION FOR RUNNING, WALKING AND FITNESS! EVENING, SATURDAY, AND HOLIDAY WORK IS REQUIRED. 20 HOURS PER WEEK IS THE MINIMUM HOURS REQUIRED FOR EMPLOYMENT. WE DO NOT HIRE FOR SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT DUE TO THE TRAINING TIME NEEDED TO DEVELOP A FIT SPECIALIST TO OUR STANDARDS.
The assistant store manager will be sharing the responsibility for the development and training of sales associates and the overall customer experience. This position works alongside the Manager, Owners, Buyers, Marketing Assistant, and Training Program Coordinator to ensure that the Fleet Feet Sports retail experience is maximized at all times. This person will share the aggressive goals and expectations that Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke has for growth and customer service, while communicating Fleet Feet Sports’ passion for movement and service to the community. The Assistant Manager needs to be a natural leader who is organized, self-directed, and energetic. This position reports directly to the Manager.
