Cost of 10K Training is $125 and that includes 14 weeks of workouts (two times a week), newsletters, access to Coaches who can answer questions, a Fleet Feet Running Club t-shirt, and more! And new this year, all 2018 Fleet Feet Running Club members can earn a uniquely designed program badge. Earn a different one as you finish each program, and showcase your collection on our brand new duffel bag, available for purchase later this spring.
Anyone who is already able to run a 5K and wants to add distance to their training. The 14 week 10K Training program starts at 3 miles (so you must be able to already walk 3 miles comfortably) and builds up to 6 miles. We have multiple pace groups for the 10K Training program, including 10-11, 11-12, 12-13, run/walk intervals (run 2 minutes, walk 1 minute) and walk. Thursday night workouts have a speed/hill/core option for those runners looking to increase their speed and strength. Saturday mornings are long runs. We do require that all 10K Training participants be 18 or older.
Thursday evening workouts start at 6PM and Saturday morning workouts start at 7:30AM at Reserve Avenue Fields North, across the street from Carilion Clinic 3 Riverside.
Anyone is welcome to TEST DRIVE a 10K Training workout for FREE the first week of the session before signing up. Please check-in at the Fleet Feet Sports tent when you arrive.
Orientation took place on Sun, Jan 21 at 5:15PM at Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke, located at 4347 Franklin Rd, Roanoke VA.

There are multiple running pace groups for 10K Training including 10-11, 11-12 and 12-13. We also have one run/walk interval group (run 2 minutes, walk 1 minute) and one walking pace group.
All 10K Training participants must have identification with emergency contact information on them at all workouts.
Earphones are NOT allowed at workouts.
Participants must have reflective gear and lights when warranted.
Participants must have a hydration system with them during all workouts.
Participants must stay with a 10K Training Mentor at all times.
No strollers at workouts.
No animals at workouts.
There are races throughout the year that Fleet Feet Sports sponsors and is actively involved with. These races are goal events for all Fleet Feet Sport FITness sessions. The goal race for the Spring session is the Anthem Star 10K, part of the Blue Ridge Marathon series, and the Fall session's goal race is the Star City 10K.
The registration fees go towards coaching staff, equipment, insurance and part of the registration goes back to the City of Roanoke to help maintain the Greenways and facilities that we use.
